Raise A Brew For The Rays & Brewers In The World Series

It's that time of year once more and to everyone's surprise MLB has decided to carry on with a World Series despite a notable lack of the Toronto Blue Jays. Why even bother?

Our friend Joshua Howsam returns to the podcast to help us tee up the series ahead of first pitch between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays. Who has the pitching edge between these top heavy rotations? Can Tampa's grinders hang in there with some of those big Brewer bats? Who are the names we're all about to get to know?

Later on conversation turns to whether or not anyone should care about this low payroll / small market conversation and whether it could play a part in the upcoming labour negotiations.

Plus some thoughts on what the Jays might do in a sprint of a free agency period ahead of the end of the world.

About the Podcast

Tall Can Audio - A Pint Of Canadian Sports Talk
A Canadian Sports & Craft Beer Podcast.
Tall Can Audio is a Canadian sports, craft beer, comedy and culture pod with a focus on the NHL and beyond. Join Matt Robinson, Rob Christy and the rest of the TCA Crew as we sample a local craft beer on each show while discussing whatever's on our minds from the world of sports, music, or anything else that's making us laugh that day. Plus tons of great guests thrown in to the mix as we go. Yes - we could be accused of occasionally going a little overboard on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators. Join us for a pint and a chat!
