Audio Whiplash 57: 2016 Retrospective

Rob & Matt are in studio to take a look back at the year 2016 and it's biggest stories.  A media outlet gets bankrupted, possibly for the best.  A crazy celebrity is elected president of the United States, new albums, new attacks, new conflicts.  It was a hell of a year and we'll try to pick out the biggest moments inside one episode.

TCA 100: Stuck In Memphis

Hello, World!

We are celebrating our 100th show on the one year anniversary of this place by talking about some of our favourite moments and topics, terrorism in 2016, the Russian doping scandal and the best beers in Canada.

Ever notice the world is a pretty depressing place right now? Ya. it is. But let's sit back, drink some beers and talk some shit.

Audio Whiplash 33: Toilet Humour

Hello, World!

Oh dear.  We've let Amy back on the mic with Toilet Humour on the agenda.  This can't go well.

Audio Whiplash 33 starts off fine enough as they discuss Apple's return to a 4 inch iPhone and whether or not there is still a market for the smaller device, as well as the news that the FBI has found a hacker to help them to break in to a terrorist's iPhone. Sounds like good news. But it isn't.

And that's about where things go off the rails.  A Deadspin article regarding the Top 10 places to have a leak comes up  and things go to hell in a hurry with tomfoolery.

Later on, they talk about whether or not you'd accept a ready made clone of your significant other on the day they bit it so that you could carry on business as usual.

This one is something else but it's a lot of laughs. Give it a listen.

Audio Whiplash 32: Allegedly

Hello, World!

Quite likely the most diverse episode of Audio Whiplash we've ever offered up.

The show starts off with a frank and sobering discussion on the state of the war on terror.  When facing such an enemy is there such a thing as a moral or emotional victory? Can there ever truly be closure for those effected?

Somehow, later on, Rob & Matt are able to transition in to a hilarious conversation about the Hulk Hogan vs Gawker trial and seriously spend way too much time talking about, and laughing at, the size of the Hulkster's package.

It's a show where they're all over the map but it's well worth your time.
